This week we asked fans who they think will come out victorious in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I quarterfinal game between Kapolei and Kahuku.

The Hurricanes (5-4), ranked eighth in the latest ScoringLive/Hawaiian Electric D1 Football Power Rankings, is coming off a 41-0 first round win over Aiea last Friday.

On the other hand, No. 2 Kahuku (7-1) has enjoyed a week off since capturing the Blue Conference title with a 45-6 win over Campbell on Sept. 29 and will play in its final home game of the year.

The Red Raiders have not dropped game at home since 2007, where it lost to the Hurricanes in the quarterfinals.

@kahuku._731 expects Kahuku to win in a game that will feel like a championship bout.

Jay N Daisha Gatoloai is confident that the Hurricanes will come out on top.

Kalani C Pinao thinks Kapolei will find a way to crack Kahuku's defense, but still has the Red Raiders moving on into the semifinals.

Glenn Alo thinks the Red Raiders need to run the ball with success to defeat the Hurricanes.

Donovan Toilolo thinks Saint Louis transfer Dylan Toilolo will be the difference maker for Kapolei.

Mathew Tigilau thinks Kahuku will win because of its offensive linemen.

Kevin N Kalei Tacderan is pulling for the Red Raiders, but doesn't want to overlook Kapolei.

@shaneboy_cardenas thinks that Lonenoa Faoa, the new starting QB for Kapolei, will help the Hurricanes capture the championship this season.

Chango Misterio just wants Kahuku to win so that he doesn't have to be constantly reminded that Kahuku's last loss at home was to Kapolei.

Kickoff between the Hurricanes and Red Raiders will be 30 minutes after the 5 p.m. junior varsity contest.
