Waialua rallied from a 7-0 third quarter deficit to top Roosevelt, 13-7 in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II contest at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium for its third straight win Friday night.

Tevesi Toia scored on a 11-yard run and threw the go-ahead 20-yard touchdown pass to Lancen Kuni with 2:29 left in regulation to help the Bulldogs improve to 3-1.

The Rough Riders dropped to 1-6 and 1-5 and have been eliminated from qualifying for the league playoffs.

Roosevelt quarterback Shastyn Kekahuna scored on a 43-yard run in the third quarter, but completed just three passes for negative three yards.
