Hawaii West beats American Samoa, 47-22


 



Brothers Tua and Taulia Tagovailoa combined for three passing touchdowns to help Hawaii West beat American Samoa, 47-22 in the Junior Prep Sports Paradise Football Classic championship game.

A crowd of about 1,500 at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium was on hand to see the final game of the two-day event. Both teams won their respective semifinal games on Thursday to advance to the championship game.

The two-day event featured several top collegiate football prospects from Hawaii, American Samoa and other states on the west coast.

Hawaii East won the third place game over team West Coast, 26-14.
