Brazzlyn Tovio-Asato's walk-off, two-run home run in the last of the seventh lifted Pac-Five to a 8-7 win over Saint Francis, and the Wolfpack claimed the ILH Division II title and a seeded berth in the D2 state tourney.

Trailing by a run heading into the bottom of half of the seventh, Cameron Peterson led off the inning with a single up the middle to put the tying run aboard. That brought Tovio-Asato to the plate, who lifted the eighth pitch of the at-bat to right field for the game-winner.

Saint Francis scored 5 runs in the opening inning to take control of the game, highlighted by Tiare Gurrero's two-RBI single, one of seven hits in the opening frame for the Saints.

The lead extended to 7-3 in the top of the fifth inning for the Saints, but the Wolfpack kept grinding away, plating 2 runs in the bottom of the fifth and another in the sixth to get within a run.

Kiara Peterson held the Saints scoreless over the final three innings, helping to set up Tovio-Asato's heroics. Peterson allowed just one hit, walked two and struck out win to get the win.

The Saints racked up 15 hits in defeat, including a 3-for-3 day at the plate for Joerdan Lovell, but did not manage an extra base hit in the game.

Saint Francis can still earn a berth into the state tournament by winning a play-in game set for Saturday on Kauai against the runner-up in the Kauai Interscholastic Federation.
