Two Sabers out for Mililani game

EWA BEACH - Campbell sophomore quarterback Justin Tago and senior nose guard Sheldon Maae will miss Friday's Oahu Interscholastic Association Red West game at Mililani, Sabers coach Amosa Amosa said.

Both players went to the hospital during Friday's 36-20 loss to Leilehua.

Tago sustained a concussion and was taken to the hospital by his parents.

Maae had a neck injury late in the game and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Amosa said Maae is recovering well. He described the injury as a stinger in his neck-shoulder area.

Because Tago had a concussion, he will undergo a battery of tests that will be administered by the school's trainers, Amosa said.
