Defending state champions 'Iolani, MPI awarded top seeds


The Interscholastic League of Honolulu has secured the top seeds for the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts state girls' soccer tournament.

The games will be played at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Complex.

Defending state champion 'Iolani leads the Division I tournament, followed by Pearl City, Kamehameha-Hawai'i and Konawaena.

Three-time defending state champion Mid-Pacific tops the Division II tournament followed by Hawai'i Prep, Kauai and Kalaheo.
