Player of the Year: Tanoa Scanlan, Punahou, F, Jr.

The 6-foot-6 Scanlan led the Interscholastic League of Honolulu in scoring with an average of 19.2 points per game. He scored in double-digits in every league contest, including eight games of 20-or-more points. Scanlan was second in free throws made (61) and tied for the most attempted with (89), and shot at a 68.5 precent clip. The Buffanblu will depend heavily on Scanlan once again in his senior campaign, especially with the departures of Ethan Chung, Koen Makinano and Dane Kellner to graduation.

Coach of the Year: Brandyn Akana, Kahuku

Akana led the Red Raiders to its first state championship since 2017, and did so without the services of arguably its key cog Ronin Naihe, who suffered a season-ending injury in the OIA playoffs. Thanks in part to contributions from up and down the roster, Kahuku didn't skip a beat, winning its final five games to capture both an OIA Division I title and a state crown. The Red Raiders appear poised for yet another run in 2026-27, as the squad only loses two to graduation, though one of them is a second-team selection in Mystique Akina-Watson.
