MAKIKI — Roosevelt scored in all three phases of the game to dominate visiting Pearl City, 54-0, Friday night at Ticky Vaconcellos Stadium in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II matchup.

Rough Riders quarterback Sky Ogata completed 13 passes to nine different players with four of those going for scores. Chase Akana, Devin Naihe, Kirk Calinao and Wesley James each found paydirt on receptions of 74, 26, 25 and 2 yards, respectively.

Defensively, Roosevelt held Pearl City to just 15 yards of total offense and earned points on our Pizza Hut D/ST Leaderboard with two interceptions, one fumble and one kickoff all returned for a touchdown.

It was the first time the Chargers had been shutout since the 2016 season opener against Lahainaluna.

The Rough Riders remain unbeaten at 4-0 and have put up at least 40 points in three of those victories. They'll take on PAC-5 (1-2) next Friday at Aloha Stadium.

Pearl City (2-2 OIA, 2-3 overall) will look to bounce back at Nanakuli (1-1, 2-2) next Saturday.
