Moanalua, Campbell, Mililani and Castle have punched their tickets to the state tournament.
The Oahu Interscholastic Association's four semifinalists have locked up two-thirds of the league's berths in next month's New City Nissan/HHSAA Division I State Championships.
Moanalua, the No. 4 team in the ScoringLive Power Rankings, defeated Waipahu in four sets, while fifth-ranked Mililani swept past Kalani in its quarterfinal match Thursday night. Also, No. 9 Campbell defeated Roosevelt in four sets, while No. 10 Castle held off Aiea in four sets to set-up the final four in the OIA tournament.
In the doubleheader at Moanalua Thursday, the Sabers, who are seeded second out of the Western Division, topped East third-seeded Roosevelt 25-22, 25-21, 19-25 and 25-21, while East top-seeded Na Menehune beat the West No. 4 seed Marauders 25-20, 22-25, 25-11 and 25-12.
Over at Mililani, the No. 2 seed out of the East, Castle, beat West No. 3 seed Na Alii 25-21, 25-19, 24-26 and 25-20 before the West No. 1 seeded Trojans cruised past the East fourth-seeded Falcons 25-17, 25-20 and 25-14.
Monday's semifinals will feature Moanalua (12-0) taking on Campbell (10-1) at 5:30 p.m. and Mililani (11-0) meeting Castle (11-1) to follow. Both matches will take place at Radford's Jim Alegre Gymnasium.
Waipahu (7-5) will play Roosevelt (9-4) and Kalani (8-5) will meet Aiea (8-4) in a consolation doubleheader Monday at Aiea. The winners will secure the OIA's final two state tournament berths.
