Fifth-ranked Mililani trailed after a half an inning of play, but quickly established a margin and never looked back in a 14-4 win in five innings over Waianae.

Jerrell Mailo was 1 for 2 with three runs score and 2 RBI and Kamryn Aoki was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI, while Kolbi Kochi added a run scored and 4 RBI and Sunni Kahanu a run scored and three RBI to lead the way for the Trojans, who also drew 16 walks in the game.

The Seariders got on the scoreboard first courtesy of a three-run blast from Charlee Rose Stevens in the top of the first, but the Trojans had the immediate answer, scoring six runs of its own in the bottom of the opening inning, five of them coming with two outs, highlighted by a two-RBI double by Sunni Kahanu.

Mililani scored two more runs in the second and another pair in the third on a two-run shot by Mailo that made it a 10-3 game.

Then in the fourth, Kochi went yard again for the Trojans, this one with the bases loaded for a grand slam that made it 14-3 in favor of the home team.

Waianae was able to score once more in the top of the fifth, capitalizing on Teizsha Kaopuiki's lead off double, her second of the game, but could not find another run in the inning to extend the contest.

Mililani starter Makayla Pagampao settled in after a rough start, allowing four earned runs in 4 1/3 innings of work, striking out five and walking three. Tori Thompson came on in relief for the final two outs.
