Player of the Year: Senna Roberts-Navarro, Iolani, Sr.

The Seton Hall-bound pin hitter was a consistent force for Iolani throughout its run to a Division I state championship. Roberts-Navarro set the tone early with 20-or-more kills in the Raiders' first three matches in ILH play. She put away a season-high 28 kills in a late-season win over Punahou, in which she also came up with 14 digs. Roberts-Navarro tallied five double-doubles on the year, including a 10-kill, 13-dig effort in the sweep of Kamehameha-Hawaii in the state final. The 5-foot-11 senior is a two-time All-Hawaii selection and was selected as the ILH D1 Player of the Year in a vote of league coaches.

Coach of the Year: Kainoa Obrey, Iolani

After missing out on the state tournament a year ago, Iolani left no doubt in 2022. That is, after an early stumble. A four-set loss at Punahou to open up the regular season was followed by a run of 14 consecutive wins that included an ILH title and was capped off by the Raiders' fourth state championship in program history in late October. Obrey has coached his alma mater to three state titles, including 2016 and 2018.
