Damien seeking head coaches for girls, boys basketball




Damien Memorial School is seeking a Head Coach for its girls (varsity and intermediate) and boys (varsity, JV and intermediate) basketball programs. Must have 3 years minimum coaching experience in basketball, preferably in a high school setting.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Responsible for assembling and managing staff for the entire program in collaboration with Athletic Directors.
· Responsible for budget requests for program under the guidance of the Athletic Directors.
· Must be able to communicate effectively with athletic directors, athletic trainers, faculty & staff, student-athletes and parents.
· Works closely and efficiently with Athletic Directors.
· Must obtain NFHS Coaching Certification (completion of Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heat Illness Prevention courses).
· Must abide by Damien Coaches Code of Conduct and represent Damien Memorial School responsibly.
· Coordinate and implement fundraising ideas for entire program.
· Be a role model and leader for all our student-athletes.
· Be a positive influence on the entire Damien athletic community.

Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the Athletic Department
