Saint Francis stuns Seabury in five to repeat as D2 champs

Saint Francis rallied back from a 2-0 deficit in dramatic fashion, winning their second consecutive title with a five set victory over Seabury Hall in the New City Nissan/HHSAA Division II Girls Volleyball Championships, 25-19, 25-19, 14-25, 19-25, 15-9.

Division II tournament's Most Outstanding Player Angel Savea accounted for 21 kills, 11 digs, 2 blocks and a pair of aces to lead the way for the Saints, and teammate Malia Luis-Mateo added 8 kills, 13 digs, 6 assists and a block.

Regal Deen-Jackson had 13 kills and 8 blocks, and Kiki Leuteneker 12 kills and 6 blocks, as Seabury Hall racked up 26 total blocks in the loss.
