Farrington's powerful ground game and stout defense carried the Governors to a 44-3 win over Castle Knights at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium. Led by senior running backs Abraham "Amo" Silva (76 yards, 2 TDs) and Tyler Taumua (70 yards 2 TDs), the Governors rushed for five touchdowns. Farrington's defense limited Castle's offense to 21 total yards while allowing only 4 first downs.

On Castle's opening drive, Farrington's Syndreck Dsio strip sacked Castle quarterback Bryson Shea and Nolan Eseroma recovered for Farrington at the Castle 28-yard line. Four plays later, Silva bulled into the end zone from 4 yards out. Shanelle Atabay Carillo made the PAT for a 7-0 Farrington lead.

After swapping a couple of offensive possessions, Farrington's special teams came up big for the second week in a row, tackling the Castle punter before he could get his kick off at Castle's 15-yard line. After a penalty, Taumua scored on an 18-yard rush with 3:01 left in the first quarter. Justin Tamashiro made the PAT making it 14-0 Farrington with 3:43 left in the 1st quarter.

Castle went three-and-out on their next offensive possession with Farrington taking over at their own 40-yard line. A 30-yard run by Silva on a draw play and a 29-yard pass from Montana Liana to James Hashimoto set up Jackie Anakalea's 1-yard TD plunge into the end zone. Atabay Carillo's PAT made it 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter started with another Castle three-and-out and Farrington took over at Castle's 36-yard line. After a holding penalty, Montana Liana completed a long pass to Francis Evagelia who was tackled at the 3-yard line. Taumua scored on the very next play for his second rushing TD of the night. Tamashiro's PAT made it 28-0 Farrington.

Castle's offense stalled again but Farrington muffed the ensuing punt with Castle recovering at the Farrington 32-yard line. With the help of a personal foul, Castle was able to get to the Farrington 12-yard line but Castle's third down pass was incomplete. Kyle Urasaki's 29-yard field goal made it 28-3.

On Farrington's next offensive possession, Liana was intercepted at the Castle 4-yard line but consecutive rush plays garnered negative yards, pushing Castle back to their 2-yard line. On third down, Farrington's defense swarmed over Bryson Shea  in the end zone for a safety.

After the safety, Farrington was facing 4th-and-1 at the Castle 41-yard line. After a timeout, Montana Liana hit a wide-open Tyler Liana on play-action for a 41-yard TD pass. Atabay Carillo's PAT was good capping the scoring for the first half 37-3.

Castle opened the second half by recovering an onside kick but quickly gave the ball back after going three-and-out. Abraham Silva finished off an 8-play drive by scoring a 6-yard rushing TD off left tackle, and Atabay Carillo's PAT completed the scoring for the Govs.

Farrington improves to 3-0 overall, 1-0 OIA while Castle falls to 0-3, 0-1.
