Punahou and Mira Costa won their opening round matches in the first day of the Clash of the Titans volleyball tournament held at Hemmeter Fieldhouse.

The Buffanblu dropped the first set to Corona Del Mar, 25-22, and rallied to win the final three sets, 25-14, 26-24, 25-18.

Hawaii Baptist lost in three straight to Mira Costa, 25-18, 26-24, 25-19, in the opening match of the night.
