Kaiser moved to 4-0 atop the OIA East standings, taking both games of doubleheader on the road against Roosevelt.

The Cougars rallied in seventh to take game one, 4-1, scoring four runs to take the lead, highlighted by Royce Kuromoto's single to bring in the tying run and Kelan Yoshioka's hit to center that put Kaiser ahead.

In the second game of the double dip, Kaiser held off late a Roosevelt charge to win, 5-4.

The Rough Riders rallied in the top seventh, scoring 4 runs and nearly scoring the tying run on a base hit by Mikaele Caris. But the runner was thrown out at home to end the game.

Jake Torigoe hit a key two-RBI single to right in the bottom of the fifth to lead the Cougars in game two.
