Waianae and Kalaheo won their respective divisions in the opening races of the OIA paddling season held at Keehi Lagoon.
The Seariders boys won the West division with a time of 24.51.98, followed by Radford and Nanakuli. Kalaheo took the East boys division, finishing with a time of 24.10.20. Castle and Kailua placed second and third respectively.
In the girls division, Kalaheo (30.27.25) beat out Anuenue and Kailua to win the East, while Waianae (31.25.90) bested Leilehua and Campbell in the West race.
The mixed division race was a repeat of the first two races, with Waianae taking home the win in the West race with a time of 26.53.77, and Kalaheo claiming first place in the East, with a time of 25.38.52.
