Leilehua quarterback Kenan Sadanaga completed 34 of 48 passes for 357 yards and six touchdowns last night to help the West rout the East, 46-14, in the 21st Annual Hawai'i Union Builders Goodwill Senior Bowl.

An estimated crowd of about 1,200 at Radford's John Velasco Stadium watched the game pitting senior all-stars from the O'ahu Interscholastic Association and Interscholastic League of Honolulu.

Sadanaga completed 19 of 28 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns in the first half as the West squad took a 19-0 lead at intermission.

Sadanaga threw a 5-yard TD pass to Mililani's DeShawn Duncan Benson seven minutes into the game and Leilehua's Tim Momiyama's extra point made it 7-0. Sadanaga then found Mililani's Kaimi Wilson on a 2-yard scoring pass with 1:32 remaining in the first quarter to make it 13-0. The PAT attempt was blocked.

On the next play from scrimmage, 'Aiea linebacker Douglas Tautua made an interception and returned it 20 yards for another score. Sadanaga was sacked on the two-point conversion try.

Kamehameha safety Taylor Taliulu also had a first-half interception for the West, and Leilehua defensive end Penitito Melei and Mililani linebacker Cilvin Steward each recovered a fumble.

Another interception, by Radford safety Dorsey Norris, early in the third quarter set up Sadanaga's 16-yard touchdown strike to Wilson, and Momiyama's extra point made it 26-0. The East finally scored on Travis Tamapua's 1-yard quarterback sneak with 3:24 remaining in the third quarter, but Sadanaga and Wilson connected again on an 11-yard TD pass two minutes later.

Sadanaga then hit Mules' slotback Allen Racette on a 7-yard scoring toss early in the fourth quarter, and threw his sixth touchdown pass on a 47-yard strike to receiver Jeremiah Andrade with 4:36 left.

McKinley quarterback Alex Ironside's 1-yard sneak for the East with 1:35 remaining and Aaron Goo's PAT capped the scoring.
