Kamehameha sweeps past Mililani in D1 semi

Amanda Wasko, Misty Ma'a and Haley Pa'akaula had nine kills apiece to pace Kamehameha to a sweep of Mililani in a semifinal of the New City Nissan/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division I Girls Volleyball State Championships at Farrington Friday night.

The scores were 25-13, 25-10 and 25-20.

The Warriors, who finished second in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu behind Punahou, hit .318 for the match to advance to Saturday's championship match against the Buffanblu.

Chelsey Keoho had 12 digs and Brittany Ann Kalepa 11 for Kamehameha. Alohi Robins-Hardy dished out 36 assists for the Warriors.

Mililani, which hit minus .047 for the match, was led by Jordyn Keamo's four kills.
