Kamehameha's Christenson named Gatorade Player of the Year


Kamehameha senior Micah Christenson has been named Gatorade Player of the Year for Hawai'i boys basketball.

The official announcement came at 2 a.m. Thursday.

Christenson, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 19 points per game in helping the Warriors win their second state championship in three years. He scored 21 points in the state title game victory over 'Iolani.
