KS-Kapalama sweeps HHSAA Paddling Championships

It was a clean sweep for Kamehameha-Kapalama, who claimed the boys, girls and mixed crew titles at the HHSAA Canoe Paddling Championship at Keehi Lagoon.

Kamehameha won the boys final in convincing fashion, finishing with a time of 3:32.73, more than five seconds ahead of second place Punahou (3:37.22). Kealakehe (3:37.47), Le Jardin (3:38.72) and Kalaheo (3:40.65) rounded out the top five.

The Warrior girls won with a time of 4:06.40, followed by Pac-Five (4:08.32), Molokai (4:12.12), Kalaheo (4:12.42) and Kamehameha-Maui (4:16.36).

In the mixed crew final, Kamehameha finished with a 3:49.30 time, with Seabury Hall (3:53.47) second, followed by Hawaii Prep (3:55.48), Kapa'a (3:58.11) and Punahou (4:01.00).
