'Iolani topped Kaimuki, 55-45 to advance to the second round of the HHSAA Division I girls basketball tournament.

Raider guard Kylie Maeda led the way with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals, and post Alex Masaquel added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Up next for 'Iolani is a matchup with fourth-seeded Farrington at 5 p.m. at McKinley on Wednesday.

Kaimuki got 15 points on 10-of-13 shooting from Letisah Fa'asoa, who also added 3 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in the loss.
