Farrington can take the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red girls' basketball championship with a win against Kapolei Thursday night at Miilani.

It follows the 5:07 p.m. game between Radford and Kalani for the White title. The Rams can take the crown with a win, while the Falcons have to win Thursday to force a winner-take-all Saturday.

The games will be aired on OC16 on TV and ESPN1500 on the radio.

The Governors (13-2), the only unbeaten team in the tourney, are well-rested, having last played a week ago. Meanwhile, the Hurricanes (16-1), whose only loss was in overtime to the Governors Jan. 14, beat Kaimuki on Friday and Kahuku Tuesday to reach the final.

Farrington's outside and inside threats - post Kirsten-Marie Liana and guard Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo - average 18.1 and 13.9 points per game, respectively.

Kapolei's offensive stalwarts are Toe Motu and Kawehi Hagi, who average 10.2 and 9.8 points per games, respectively.

The teams are fighting for the OIA top two seeds for the Division I state tournament. Kahuku is third, Kaimuki is fourth, Kaiser is fifth and Pearl City is sixth.

In the White, the Rams (13-0) and Falcons (12-3) are battling for their league's top two seeds for the Division II state tournament. Wai'anae has the third and final berth from the OIA White.
