Malik Johnson and the Buffanblu defeated a scrappy Melbourne squad in the closing seconds to win the Punahou Invitational, 42-40.
Johnson scored 9 points, and DeForest Buckner and Nicholas Velasquez added 10 more each to lead the Buffanblu, who fought back from a 20-15 halftime deficit to take the lead for good with under a minute left in the contest.
Melbourne Grammar was led by Dane Pineau's 16 points and two three-pointers.
