Rayden Aoki | SLKamehameha-Hawaii scored 20 points in the second quarter to establish a double digit lead at the half, then held a late charge by Hilo to come away with a 32-29 victory.
Dallas Enriquez led the way for the Warriors with 91 yards on 29 carries and three rushing touchdowns, besting a pair of scores from Vikings' WR Urijah Kipili.
Hilo led 7-0 after one quarter of play on a 92 yard scoring connection from Austin Aguiar to Kipili, before Kamehameha-Hawaii responded with 20 unanswered points in the second stanza, the first a 16 yard pass from Chaseton Wong to Kahekili Makekau, followed up by TD runs from 8 and then 3 yards by Enriquez.
A seven yard score from Aguiar to Kahelen Nakapaahu trimmed the lead to 20-14, but a one yard plunge by Enriquez extended the lead back to 26-14.
In the fourth, Chance Kaaua-Long pushed the Warriors' margin to 32-14 with a five yard rushing score, which proved to be the difference as the Vikings rallied in the fourth with a pair of scores and a pair of two point conversions, the first an eight yard run by Ale Torres with a two-point run on the PAT by Torres as well, and the other one more Aguiar to Kipili connection, this one 29 yards away with Torres again running in the two-point try to make it 32-29.
