Aiea jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and never looked back in its 15-4 mercy-rule win over Kailua at Aiea Annex Field Thursday afternoon.

Starting pitcher Cayleigh Naito's three-run homer in the bottom of the first was a sign of things to come as Na Alii earned their eighth straight win to improve to 10-1 in OIA Division II play.

Aiea has control of its own destiny after sweeping the Surfriders (9-2) and splitting the regular season series with Radford (9-2).

Naito had a solid all-around game to lead Na Alii, batting 3-for-3 with five RBIs and two runs scored.

Designated player Mahealani Alayon drove in all four runs for Kailua to lead the Surfriders in the loss.
