The Kapolei football team put on a masterclass in efficiency Friday night.

The seventh-ranked Hurricanes scored 34 first-quarter points on just eight plays and never looked back as they cruised to a 54-3 homecoming win at the Alvin Nagasako Athletic Complex.

Liatama Amisone completed 14 of his 17 pass attempts for 207 yards and seven first-half touchdowns to lead the Hurricanes (4-1) to their fourth straight victory.

Kaina Kamohalii was the leading receiver with seven receptions for 150 yards and three scores. Zayne Pasion also caught two early TDs to give Kapolei a 13-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game.

A 38-yard reception by Nathanael-Seth Rombawa for the Knights' longest play from scrimmage helped set up Aztin Pitt's 25-yard field goal in the second quarter for the lone score by Castle (1-2).
