Leilehua tops Waipahu in four sets to remain unbeaten

Leilehua kept pace atop the OIA West standings with a 25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17 win over Waipahu, setting up a showdown in one week's time with perennial division power Mililani.

Christian Johansen had 12 kills and Zarien Carvalho added eight more to lead the Mules attack, with Khendel Scully doing it all with three kills, five total blocks, five aces and 29 assists in the win.

Waipahu was led by Samson Leasiolagi, who had 10 kills and Isaiah Tutuvanu with nine kills and an ace.

The Mules have dropped a set in each of its last three wins (Aiea, Waianae, Waipahu), while the Trojans have swept teams in all five of its matches thus far.
