It's not how the Campbell Sabers drew it up, but they'll take it.

Kayne Carlos drew a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded to score Ridge Choy for the game-winning run as Campbell turned back visiting Mililani for a 5-4 walk-off win Saturday afternoon in an OIA Division I West contest.

The Sabers improved to 2-0 in league play with their second straight one-run victory while the Trojans fell to 1-1.

Campbell took an early 3-0 lead after the first inning and allowed no runs through five innings before the two teams each put one run on the board in the sixth. Mililani then tied it with three runs in the top of the seventh before the home team pulled off the unconventional victory.

The Sabers were hit by pitches seven times during the game, three of which came in the bottom of the seventh.

Choy was the first one to get hit in the seventh after a pitching change with one out. He then stole second, but the next batter struck out swinging for the second out. The Trojans then intentionally-walked Hunter Lindsey before Kalaeloaloa Kalua was beaned after a 1-1 count to load the bases. Carlos got hit on the very throw to win the game for the Sabers.

Kalua was the winning pitcher for Campbell with just six pitches in one-third inning of work. He was the third Saber to see the mound in the seventh, coming in to the game after Ethan Murakoshi had a bases-clearing triple to cut into Campbell's lead, 4-3. Kalua's first pitch was off the mark, which allowed Murakoshi to trot home to tie the game, but he settled down after a 3-0 count with three straight strikes to end the inning.

Starter Xavier Streadbeck went 5 and 1/3 innings pitch and scattered five hits while walking on three batters and allowing just one earned run on 75 pitches.

Micah Swangel was the pitcher of record for the Trojans, who utilized four different pitchers in the final two innings in relief of starter Kai Hirayama.

Dayton Lorenzo led the Sabers at the plate with two of the team's five hits while recording an RBI and scoring a run. Choy was also solid with two runs scored and a double in his only at bat, he was beaned in his three other plate appearances.

Murakoshi and Brayden Suehisa were the only ones with multiple hits for the Trojans.
