MAKIKI — Another week, another win.

No. 7 Iolani remained unbeaten with a commanding 40-7 win over Roosevelt in a non-league matchup Friday night at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium.

Keao Miyahira scored three times on just six touches to help the Raiders improve to 9-0 on the year.

The 5-foot-11, 155-pound junior caught scoring passes from two different quarterbacks and scored on a 66-yard run for the final touchdown of the night.

Senior running back Brody Bantolina added 141 yards rushing and two TDs on 18 carries to lead Iolani's ground attack.

Allison Chang kicked a 28-yard field goal in the first quarter for the first score of the game and was a perfect 5-for-5 on PATs. The Raiders also netted a safety after a bad snap on a Roosevelt punt attempt.

Roosevelt, who was without several key players including starting quarterback Kayman Lewis and linebacker Kaeo Akana, fell to 1-3.

Silas Kekahuna had the lone score for Roosevelt on a 1-yard run and Dean Mizukami had a red zone interception to lead the Rough Riders defensively.
