Kaiser continued its winning ways in OIA Division II play, posting a 27-8 win over Pearl City to move to 5-0 on the year.

Junior quarterback Easton Yoshino completed 19 of 26 passes for 269 yards and a score, and kept the Kaiser offense steadily moving on drives to set up a trio of rushing touchdowns on the ground, two by Kai Blackston and another by Ryder Rodrigues.

Blackston's first score came on an 11 yard run up the middle as time expired in the first quarter, and the Cougars did not find the end zone again until 11 seconds left until the half when Yoshino found Kamakana Mahiko on a seven yard connection to make the score 14-0 at the break.

Kaiser struck again at the 6:33 mark of the third when Rodrigues cross the plane from one yard out, but the point after touchdown failed, making the score 20-0 for the home team.

Then in the opening moments of the fourth it was Blackston again, this time from five yards out, putting the Cougars comfortably ahead, 27-0.

Pearl City got on the board late in the fourth on a Sefo Feesago keeper, then coverted the two point attempt via the pass to make the score 27-8.

Kaiser's defense was anchored by Nalu Nuuhiwa-Santosn the first half, who garnered two tackles for loss and a sack in the game and Hopo Aholelei came alive in the second with three TFLs, a sack and a forced fumble.
