KS-Maui, Roosevelt claim Spring Esports crowns

Kamehameha-Maui and Roosevelt were crowned champions in the 2020 HHSAA Esports Spring Championships.

The Warriors from the Valley Isle claimed their second straight title in Rocket League, backing up a 4-2 win over Maui in the Fall 2019 finals with a 4-0 sweep of Sabers the second time around.

In League of Legends, Moanalua's Team Prestige, the defending Fall 2019 champs, won the first match, but the Rough Riders' Epiczero rallied in the second before ultimately overwhelming Prestige for the win in the decding match for the victory.

The win marked Roosevelt's second esports title in League of Legends, with Team Luka Fox having won the inaugural season in the spring of 2019.
