Roosevelt heated up after the first quarter to top host Kaimuki, 66-60, in an OIA East contest Tuesday night.

The Rough Riders trailed 19-10 after the first quarter, but scored 20 points apiece in the next two periods to improve to 4-4 in league play.

Drake Watanabe scored a game-high 23 points to lead the visitors. Kayman Lewis and Kody Seguancia followed with 14 and 13 points respectively.

Koby Moananu poured in 15 points to lead the Bulldogs (1-7 OIA East) in the loss.
