Damien snaps losing streak with win over Kailua

Without its starting quarterback, Damien found a way to get the job done.

The Monarchs shook off a slow start to top Kailua, 28-12, Friday afternoon at Hawaiian Tel FCU Field at Aloha Stadium.

Jarvis Natividad caught five passes for 139 yards and two scores and Amo Sulu rushed for 179 yards to help Damien improve to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in the ILH Division I standings. 

Cameron Friel tossed two touchdown passes, both to Koalii Kohatsu, to lead the Surfriders (3-5 overall, 2-2 league) in the loss.
