Castle holds it down to best Radford

ALIAMANU — Castle played spoiler to Radford on Homecoming night as the Knights defense forced four turnovers and held the Rams down, 20-6, Friday night at John E. Velasco Stadium in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I matchup.

The Knights defense racked up six sacks and got interceptions from Jonah Figueroa, Chevas Kam as well as fumble recoveries from Brandon Frey and Logan Albinio — who also hauled in four catches for 65 yards and a 37-yard touchdown reception from Kila Kaio.

Radford's defense got in on the action as Chase Daack returned an interception 95 yards to get the Rams on the scoreboard with time winding down on the first half.

The Rams remain winless and now hold an 0-3 league record with a week off before playing at Iolani (5-1 overall) on Sept. 27.

Castle got its first OIA win of the season and improved to 1-1 (2-3 overall). The Knights will return home next Friday to take on Leilehua (5-1 overall)
