KAPALAMA HEIGHTS — Kamehameha gave visiting Fagaitua (American Samoa) the boot Friday night.

The Warriors kicked three field goals and scored twice on interception returns to earn their first win of the season, a 29-8 victory over the Vikings at Kunuiakea Stadium.

Two field goals by Prenton Rezentes and a 30-yard kick by Kainoa Downing pushed Kamehameha's 6-0 halftime lead to 15-0 after three quarter of play.

After Manuita Sofeni scored on a 6-yard run and cashed in on the 2-point conversion to make it a one-possession game Harrison Donato and Taylor Scott Wong scored on interception returns with under four minutes to play to put the game to rest.

Kamehameha's lone offensive score of the night came on Jonah Yuen's 31-yard pass to Blaze Kamoku in the second quarter.
