For the third time in four years, Kamehameha-Hawaii will face Hawaii Prep in the Division II state final.

The top-seeded Warriors defeated Kapaa, 2-0, Friday afternoon at Waipio Pensinsula Soccer Stadium to advance to Saturday's The Queen's Medical Center/HHSAA D2 Girls Soccer state championship.

Chenoa Frederick scored in the 21st minute and Nanea Wong Yuen added an insurance goal in the 79th minute for KS-Hawaii, who beat HPA in overtime, 3-2, to win the BIIF D2 championship.

The Warriors will try to prevent Ka Makani from winning their sixth straight state title in Saturday's 5:00 p.m. final. KS-Hawaii won its only state crown in 2008.
