In a match played at the winners' gym, Roosevelt surprised No. 8 Moanalua in three sets.

Set scores were 25-19, 21-25, 15-10.

The Rough Riders improved to 7-3 in Oahu Interscholastic Association East play with the win while Na Menehune dropped to 8-2.
