KAPIOLANI — The Raiders have been off to a hot start to the season with wins in their first three games by an average margin of more than 41 points, but that all came to an end after being shutout for the first time in nearly two years.

Defending Oregon Class 6A football state champion Clackamas took a trip to Oahu and held the typically-high flying Iolani offense scoreless for a 7-0 victory Friday afternoon at Eddie Hamada Field.

The lone score of the game came courtesy of Cavaliers starting quarterback Austin Atkenson's 2-yard sneak with 1:12 left in the first half. The touchdown capped an eight-play drive that started at the Raiders 30 yard line after Victor Moreno Jr.'s interception off Iolani QB Jonah Chong.

Atkenson finished with 41 yards off 11 carries and also threw 11 for 16 for 93 yards.

On the other side, Chong finished 16-of-26 passing for 93 yards but threw three interceptions.

As a whole, Clackamas outgained Iolani on offense, 354-165.

While the Cavaliers will return home, the Raiders (2-0 ILH, 3-1 coverall) will gear up for an away game next Saturday night at Leilehua (3-0 OIA, 3-1 overall).
