Radford charges over Pearl City to keep winning

Radford keeps rolling.

The Rams rallied from dropping the first set to beat visiting Pearl City in three games, 22-25, 25-22, 15-8, at Jim Alegre Gymnasium to pull into a tie for first place with Waianae in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division standings Monday night.

Junior middle Jude Pauulu led the way with 11 kills, four blocks, two aces and seven digs and junior outside hitter Micah Sala added 10 kills and eight digs to power Radford (5-0) in the win.

Jeremiah Perifanos-Taamu and Zion Tupuola-Fetui had 13 and 11 kills respectively to lead Pearl City (2-4) in the loss.

The Rams totaled seven aces in the contest and served tough throughout the entire match.

A 7-0 run in the third set with Pauulu serving helped Radford pull away for the victory.
