Falcons, Trojans to meet in OIA D1 semis

Kalani and Mililani is moving on in the playoffs.

The third-ranked Falcons squeezed past Pearl City for a 1-0 win and the seventh-ranked Trojans pounded Campbell in a physical 6-2 victory in the quarterfinals of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I tournament at John Kauinana Stadium Tuesday night.

The two teams advance to the semifinals on Thursday, which will be held at Kapolei's Alvin Nagasako Sports Complex. Kalani and Mililani's matchup will follow the 5:30 p.m. contest between Moanalua and No. 4 Kaiser.

Jonathan Casey accounted for the only score in the Falcons' win over the Chargers.

Mitchell Isobe, Dane Little, Sean Donaldson, Noah Ungos, Cy Kuboyama-Hayashi and Manhattan Fukunaga each had goals in the Trojans' win.

Claudio Dotrait and Julian Matsumura-Pasco scored for the Sabers.
