Kamehameha moves up to No. 36 nationally


The Kamehameha Schools' girls volleyball team is 36th in PrepVolleyball.com's top 100 national rankings.

The web site released its latest rankings Friday.

The Warriors are 18-0 overall and 9-0 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu. They opened the preseason ranked 45th nationally.

According to PrepVolleyball.com, Misty Ma'a, Talia Jardin-Fermentez and Nicole Sniffen are combined averaging 10 kills per set.

The Warriors have two more league games before taking part in the Durango Tournament Sept. 24 and 25 in Las Vegas.
