New coaches confirmed at three schools

New coaches in diamond sports have been confirmed.

Pearl City has hired Wes Yonamine as baseball coach, athletic director Reid Shigemasa said.  Yonamine succeeds Peter Arakawa.

Kapolei named former Campbell assistant Keoke Behic as softball coach to replace Stacie Mahoe.  Behic was head coach at Pearl City when it won the 2006 state softball crown. His daughter, Jade, a junior who pitched for the Sabers this past season, has moved along with her father.  However, she will have to sit out the coming season because of OIA transfer rules, Kapolei athletic director Darren Camello said.

Leilehua named Spencer Omalza as baseball coach and Wendell Au as softball coach, new athletic director Nolan Tokuda said. They succeed Lane Watanuki and Stacy Araki, respectively.

Leilehua also named Kenneth Buffa as boys' soccer coach, Tokuda said.
