Kapa'a routs Honoka'a, 6-0, in opening round action

Four opening round games in the HHSAA Division II tournament each resulted in shut out wins during afternoon games at Waipio Soccer Complex.

KAPAA 6, HONOKAA 0: Eryka Keoho scored two goals in the first 12 minutes to help the KIF-runner up Warriors (6-5-2) shutout the Dragons (10-2). Four other players scored for Kapaa, which will play three-time defending Division II champion and tournament top seed Mid-Pacific in a quarterfinal Thursday. Honokaa, the third-place team out of the BIIF, will play in a consolation game against Seabury Hall.

KAMEHAMEHA-HAWAII 2, SEABURY HALL 0: Tiana Iwata and Sachi Iwata each scored a goal in the first half to lead the Warriors (9-4-1) past the Spartans (2-11). Kamehameha-Hawaii, the runner-up from the BIIF, will play OIA titlist Kalaheo in Thursday's quarterfinal round.

LEILEHUA 2, NANAKULI 0: Shayla Padilla and Danielle Martinez both scored a second-half goal as the Mules (6-7) shutout the Golden Hawks (3-11). Leilehua, the OIA White runner-up, meets reigning state runner-up and BIIF champ Hawaii Prep in a quarterfinal Thursday. Nanakuli, the fourth-place team out of the OIA, will play Radford in an elimination game.

PAC-FIVE 4, RADFORD 0: Jamie Saito scored goals in the fourth and 78th minutes to lift the Wolf Pack (5-6-2) past the Rams (6-8). Pac-Five, the ILH runner-up, advances to meet KIF winner and No. 3 seed Kauai in Thursday's quarterfinal round.
