Wai'anae tops 'Aiea in defensive struggle, 6-0

Sean Stevens-Sadamaru's 31-yard TD run in the first quarter was the difference as Wai'anae defeated 'Aiea in a defensive struggle, 6-0.

The victory marked the second in a row for the Seariders, who improved to 2-2 the OIA Red West, and 2-4 overall.

Both offenses were held under 150 total yards on the night, with 'Aiea attempting an uncharacteristic 44 pass attempts, completing just 17 of them.

The Searider ground game yielded just 54 yards on the night, much of it coming on the Stevens-Sadamaru score in the first quarter.

Jarrel Chaviera had a team-high seven receptions for 50 yards for Na Ali'i (0-3 Red West, 1-4 Overall), who will face Mililani next week.
