Ian Namu had a team-high 25 points in a 84-68 victory over Kamehameha-Hawaii in the opening round of the Hawaiian Airlines/HHSAA Division I Boys Basketball Tournament at Moanalua Gymnasium.

The Trojans jumped out to 24-16 advantage after the first quarter and increased that margin to 21 heading into the break at 50-31.

Three other Mililani players got into double-figures, with Noel Bueno (18 pts), Peter Bueno (12 pts) and Slyvester Panoncillo (10) combining with Namu to score 65 of the 84 put up on the scoreboard.

Kamehameha-Hawaii would rally coming out of the intermission, outscoring the Trojans by a 24-17 margin, but could never cut the deficit enough to get within striking distance.

Shaun Kagawa poured in 25 points, 11 of the coming in the fourth quarter, in a losing effort.
