Kamehameha quest for a state title began as expected, taking the form of a straight set victory at home over Campbell, 25-13, 25-17, 25-15.

Kainoa Wade led the way with 15 kills and seven service aces, to go along with a block solo. Christian Togiai also hit double digits with 10 kills, and Brayden Van Kuren had 33 assists and two total blocks in the win.

The Warriors held the Sabers to just .097 hitting in the match while reaching the .376 mark themselves.

Up next for Kamehameha is a match with BIIF champion Hilo, set to be played at 7 p.m. back at Kekuhaupio Gym.

Campbell's season ends at 10-4.
