Running back Wayne Taulapapa ran for four touchdowns and quarterback Ephraim Tuliloa threw a pair of scoring strikes, including a 63-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kanawai Noa in the win over the Raiders Friday afternoon. Noa, a First Team All-Hawaii selection in 2013, averages 29.5 yards per reception.

Quarterback McKenzie Milton completed 22 of 26 pass attempts for 278 yards with a touchdown and slotback Bryson Ventura caught seven passes for 120 yards — both season-high marks — against the Govs Saturday. Running back Vavae Malepeai leads the state with 773 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw three touchdown passes and ran in another score against the Saints Saturday. Two of his scoring strikes went to wide receiver Drew Kobayashi. Jahred Silofau had a pair of touchdown runs and defensive back Ronson Timbreza picked off a pair of passes in the win.

The Warriors pounded out 494 yards rushing yards and ran in seven of their 11 total touchdowns against the Wolf Pack Saturday. Running backs Keola Pedrina (11 carries, 131 yards) and Kayson Nakatsu (5 carries, 114 yards) each found the end zone one and wide receiver Kaulana Werner caught two touchdown passes.

Keala Santiago scored on an 82-yard kickoff return and a 67-yard punt return — both in the first quarter — in Friday's win over the Mules. Alohi Gilman also scored on a 34-yard interception return and defensive lineman Salanoa-Alo Wily and linebacker Manaia Atuaia each had three sacks.

Linebacker Kea Cambra scored on a 24-yard interception return in the first quarter and a 22-yard pick-6 in the third quarter of the Sabers' shutout of Na Alii Saturday. Running back Austin May had a game-high 89 rushing yards to overcome three interceptions thrown by quarterback Ezra Savea.

Running back Ranan Mamiya ran for 98 yards and caught an 80-yard touchdown pass as the Governors suffered their first loss of 2014 Saturday. Linebacker Bryce Tatupu-Leopoldo made a game-high 11 tackles. Quarterback Montana Liana threw for 180 yards on 8-of-12 passing.

Running back Ikaika Piceno successfully returned from a hamstring injury with 126 yards of total offense in the Mules' loss to the Red Raiders Friday. Piceno caught six passes for 78 yards and carried 14 times for 48 yards and a 1-yard touchdown run. Quarterback Kalanimoku Pauole threw for 208 yards in the loss.

The Hurricanes were on bye last weekend after winning two of their last three games. After allowing 102 points in its first three games — all losses — Kapolei has outscored the opposition 58 to 28 since. The defense surrendered just 127 total yards in a 20-0 shutout of Kailua on Sept. 19.

Running back Jensen McDaniel carried 24 times for 114 yards and found the end zone twice in the Cougars' win over the Knights Friday. Wide receiver Destin Moss caught 10 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in the win. McDaniel ranks second in the state with 771 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.
