The University of Hawai'i Warriors look to bounce back from one of the biggest losses in school history in a non-conference game against Brigham Young Friday in Provo, Utah.

Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. HST at LaVell Edwards Stadium and will be televised nationally on ESPN.

The Warriors (1-2) are coming off a 69-24 loss to Nevada in its Mountain West opener, in which the home team surrendered its most points ever in the 38-year history of Aloha Stadium. The 45-point defeat was also the largest ever for Hawaii in a conference home game.

This week’s game is a homecoming for Warrior head coach Norm Chow, who spent 27 years (24 as an assistant) at BYU. During his tenure, the Cougars posted a 244-91-3 record and appeared in 23 bowl games.

The Cougars (2-2) have lost their last two games by a combined total of four points, one to rival Utah (24-21) and the other to No. 24 Boise State (7-6), both on the road. BYU opened the season with home wins over Washington State and Weber State.

BYU leads the overall series 20-8, and has won all eight meetings in Provo.
