Pearl City withstands fourth quarter Kahuku rally, 50-45

Pearl City built a 10 point lead at halftime and held off a fourth quarter rally by the Red Raiders to win 50-45, securing a state tourney berth.

Tiari Walker scored 14 points and Shawna Angle added 10 more for the Chargers, who advance to face East top-seed Kaimuki on the road in a winners' bracket matchup next Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Kahuku got a game-high 18 points from Leighlani Paselio in the loss.
